Similarly, the FWA-6172 is powered by 4th/5th Gen Intel® Xeon® processors with up to 104 cores and 16 x DDR5 DIMM slots, providing a 1.7x memory bandwidth improvement over DDR4.

Both the FWA-6183 and FWA-6172 are designed for future scalability and extensive network integration, featuring 8 x NMC expansion slots with PCIe Gen5, supporting up to 400GbE connectivity with a maximum of 4 x NMC-6004FBD cards in LAN bypass mode. To enhance reliability during network security operations, both appliances are equipped with 4 x hot-swappable system fans and the 1200W reduntant PSU, ensuring uninterrupted service.
