ARMPAC-6A, the NXP i.MX8M+ ARM Based HMI Solution

Aplex, Taipei, Taiwan, 22.09.2023－APLEX Technology Inc., a global industrial computer products solutions provider, is glad to introduce our ARMPAC-6A. The ARM-based HMI is the new sequence of ARMPAC series, which is designed for factory automation applications.

ARMPAC-6A comes in 7" ARMPAC-607AP and 10" ARMPAC-610AP TFT LCD with projected capacitive touch. It is a rugged, compact and light weight HMI, which is powered by NXP i.MX8M Plus Quad, 4 x Cortex A53 processor and is constructed by engineering plastic with IP65 compliant front bezel design.

ARMPAC-6A supports onboard 4GB LPDDR4 SDRAM memory, onboard 16GB eMMC Flash and 1 x micro SD slot for storage. In addition, it provides 1 x USB 3.0/2.0, 1 x USB OTG, 2 x GbE LAN inclusive of 1 x optional PoE port and 1 x 10 pin terminal block with 1 x RS232/485, 1 x RS485, 1 x CAN Bus.

ARMPAC-6A equipped with stable and reliable wireless internet connectivity by supporting 4G LTE, Wi Fi and Bluetooth. It has flexible and professional software support, such as Android 11 and Yocto Linux 4.0 (Kirkstone). Nevertheless, with Android 11, ARMPAC-6A has great compatibility with HTML5 by scoring 515 out of 555 points from HTML5TEST. Therefore, ARMPAC-6A is suitable for web HMI application and unique applications as well.
