Avalue, ASIX deepen strategic collaboration for time accuracy, security in industrial networks

Leading industrial PC manufacturer Avalue Technology has recently announced its strategic partnership with industrial Ethernet chipmaker ASIX Electronics, jointly launching TSN (time-sensitive networking) solutions for industrial Internet of Things (IIoT), which combine Avalue’s industrial-grade SLP-WHG-TSN PCs with ASIX’s AXM57104 TSN PCIe ultra-high-speed Ethernet card. By closing the gap existing in traditional industrial communication, Avalue and ASIX’s TSN solutions realize real-time seamless data streaming with IT/OT convergence, making them suitable for rail transportation, industrial control, industrial automation and power supply which rely particularly on signal reliability and timeliness, and IIoT applications which depend on data sharing between tens of thousands of sensors and operation precision. TSN solutions jointly developed by Avalue and ASIX integrate industrial-grade SLP-WHG-TSN with AXM57104 4-port TSN PCIe ultra-high-speed Ethernet card. Supporting AXM57104 TSN software source codes, AXM57104’s built-in FPGA enables IAP (in-application programming) updating, ensuring that firmware is updated to the latest TSN standards.
